Texas real estate has remained strong throughout the recession for a couple reasons. One we didn't experience the dramatic inflation of the housing bubble that many parts of the country did. Two our economy has remained steady and stable with many new large corporations now calling Texas headquarter home. Lastly, locally, the Barnett Shale and has been a great discovery keeping the Fort Worth economy stable.
